Privacy policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
Safe & Sure operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). Safe & Sure is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using the Services, complete our survey, or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described here.
Who We Are
Safe & Sure is a brand of Neuriva Life Sciences Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at 405, Makani Centre, 35th Road, Bandra West, Mumbai 400050, Maharashtra, India.
- CIN: U21009MH2023PTC402232
- GSTIN: 27AAICN8559N1ZI
We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”).
Our Survey Is Anonymous
This section describes our intimate health awareness survey, and it is the most important thing in this policy.
The survey collects no personal information. We do not ask for your name, phone number, email address, postal address or any other identifying detail within the survey. We do not record your IP address against your answers.
Survey responses are stored separately from every other system we operate. There is no key, identifier or technical means by which your answers can be connected to your identity. This separation is deliberate and permanent. We built it this way because the subject matter is private and we did not want to be able to make that connection, even if we were asked to.
Survey responses are used only in combined, aggregated form — for example, “62% of respondents had never heard of a urine culture test.” No individual response is ever published, shared or examined on its own.
If you go on to register for a free product, the details you give us at that point are held in a separate system, as described below. Registering does not link you to your survey answers.
One consequence of this design is that we cannot retrieve, correct or delete an individual survey response, because we have no way of knowing which response is yours. This is a limitation of the architecture, not a refusal to act on your request.
Personal Information We Collect or Process
When we use the term “personal information,” we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Personal information does not include information that is collected anonymously or that has been de-identified, so that it cannot identify or be reasonably linked to you. We may collect or process the following categories of personal information, including inferences drawn from it, depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live, and as permitted or required by applicable law:
- Contact details including your name, address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
- Financial information including payment card information, financial account information, transaction details, form of payment, and payment confirmation. We do not store card or bank account numbers ourselves; these are handled by our payment provider.
- Account information including your username, password, preferences and settings.
- Transaction information including the items you view, put in your cart, add to your wishlist, or purchase, return, exchange or cancel, and your past transactions.
- Campaign registration information including your Instagram username, where you provide it in order to claim a free product.
- Communications with us including the information you include in communications with us, for example when sending a customer support enquiry.
- Device information including information about your device, browser, or network connection, your IP address, and other unique identifiers.
- Usage information including information regarding your interaction with the Services, including how and when you interact with or navigate them.
We do not collect health information about you. Our survey asks about awareness and experience, but it does so anonymously and the answers are not attached to any person.
Personal Information Sources
We may collect personal information from the following sources:
- Directly from you, including when you create an account, register for a product, visit or use the Services, communicate with us, or otherwise provide us with your personal information;
- Automatically through the Services, including from your device when you use our products or services or visit our websites, and through the use of cookies and similar technologies;
- From our service providers, including when we engage them to enable certain technology and when they collect or process your personal information on our behalf;
- From our partners or other third parties.
How We Use Your Personal Information
Depending on how you interact with us or which of the Services you use, we may use personal information for the following purposes:
- Provide, tailor and improve the Services. To perform our contract with you, process your payments, fulfil your orders, remember your preferences, send notifications related to your account, process purchases, returns, exchanges or other transactions, manage your account, arrange shipping, enable you to post reviews, and create a customised shopping experience.
- Operate our campaigns. To dispatch free products, verify that you meet the published campaign conditions, keep you informed about your delivery, and administer any waitlist.
- Marketing and advertising, where you have separately consented — to send marketing and promotional communications by email, WhatsApp or post, and to show you online advertisements.
- Security and fraud prevention. To authenticate your account, provide a secure payment and shopping experience, and detect, investigate or act on possible fraudulent, illegal, unsafe or malicious activity. If you register an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
- Communicating with you. To provide customer support and maintain our business relationship with you.
- Legal reasons. To comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process, and to enforce or investigate potential violations of our terms or policies.
Consent
We ask for your consent separately for each purpose. Consent to receive your product is separate from consent to receive marketing. Neither is pre-selected, and declining marketing does not affect your ability to register for a product or to place an order.
You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@safeandsure.life or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect promptly. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew.
How We Disclose Personal Information
In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes subject to this Privacy Policy. Such circumstances may include:
- With Shopify, vendors and other third parties who perform services on our behalf (for example IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfilment and shipping).
- With business and marketing partners to provide marketing services and advertise to you. For example, we use Shopify to support personalised advertising with third-party services based on your online activity with different merchants and websites. Our business and marketing partners will use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices. Depending on where you reside, you may have a right to direct us not to share information about you for targeted advertising.
- When you direct, request or otherwise consent to our disclosure of certain information to third parties, such as to ship you products or through your use of social media widgets or login integrations.
- With our affiliates or otherwise within our corporate group.
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or bankruptcy, to comply with applicable legal obligations (including to respond to subpoenas, search warrants and similar requests), to enforce any applicable terms of service or policies, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not disclose anonymous survey responses to anyone in any form other than aggregated totals.
Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside, in order to provide and improve the Services for you.
In addition, to help protect, grow and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data and information obtained from your interactions with our store, along with other merchants and with Shopify. To provide these features, Shopify may make use of personal information collected about your interactions with our store, along with other merchants, and with Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including for responding to your requests to exercise your rights over the use of your personal information for these purposes.
To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and any rights you may have, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. Depending on where you live, you may exercise certain rights with respect to your personal information through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Third Party Websites and Links
The Services may provide links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties, including Instagram and WhatsApp. If you follow links to sites not affiliated with or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies and other terms. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites, including the accuracy, completeness or reliability of information found on them. Information you provide on public or semi-public venues, including information you share on third-party social networking platforms, may also be viewable by other users without limitation as to its use by us or by a third party. Our inclusion of such links does not, by itself, imply any endorsement.
Children’s Data
The Services and our products are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Our survey requires a date of birth before it can be started, and anyone under 18 cannot proceed.
If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will delete it. As of the date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we share or sell the personal information of anyone under 18.
Security and Retention of Your Information
We use encryption in transit, access controls and separation of databases to protect your information. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee perfect security. Any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. We recommend that you do not use unsecured channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.
How long we retain your personal information depends on the purpose:
- Anonymous survey responses are retained indefinitely in aggregated form, as they contain no personal information.
- Campaign registration and waitlist data is retained for twelve months after the campaign closes and then deleted, unless you have consented to marketing — in which case we retain your contact details until you withdraw that consent.
- Order and transaction data is retained for as long as required by Indian tax and accounting law.
- Support correspondence is retained for as long as needed to resolve your query and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Your Rights and Choices
Under the DPDP Act, and depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights in relation to your personal information. These rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances, and in certain cases we may decline a request as permitted by law.
- Right to access. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and a summary of how it is processed.
- Right to correction and completion. You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Right to erasure. You may request that we delete personal information we hold about you.
- Right to withdraw consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, as described above.
- Right to nominate. You may nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Right of portability. In certain circumstances and with certain exceptions, you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to grievance redressal. You may raise a grievance with us, as set out below, and escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.
- Managing communication preferences. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time using the unsubscribe option. If you opt out, we may still send non-promotional messages about your account or orders.
As explained above, we cannot action an access, correction or erasure request in respect of an individual survey response, because we have no means of identifying which response is yours.
You may exercise any of these rights by contacting us using the details below. To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and any rights you may have in relation to data processed by Shopify, visit https://privacy.shopify.com/en.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request, as permitted or required under applicable law. You may designate an authorised agent to make requests on your behalf; before accepting such a request we will require proof of authorisation and may need to verify your identity directly. We will respond within thirty days.
